A Few Details
Ever since she was little, Rachel has always told stories. What started as long-winded tales on car rides became a way to spend rainy days, and finally transformed into a dream she was determined to make come true. Rachel has written eleven novels (some early ones, admittedly, were not very good) and continues to write whenever inspiration strikes. Whether it is a piece of flash fiction on her blog or a new scene from the latest manuscript, Rachel can be found most days tinkering away with a cat in her lap. When not writing, Rachel spends her time exploring nature, searching for the best donuts, or watching stories on big and small screens.
Writing Style
The best way to describe Rachel’s writing style is: a screenplay that filled up its white-space with emotions. She strives to create character-centric tales hinging on unique concepts. Currently, she is crafting nuanced journeys of hope for queer teens set in contemporary environments. Another of her passions lays in speculative fiction, tales that stretch the imagination and take readers on voyages to far off lands or lands that might have been. One day she hopes to meld these loves into her next great project.
